Support for sheep, lamb and wool

Australia's high-quality sheep and wool are big business for our national economy and contribute toward the agriculture sector's goal of becoming a $100 billion industry by 2030.

We're proud to support industry, and in turn their local communities, through building and expanding trade and market access opportunities, maintaining strong biosecurity, and helping farmers to prepare for drought and adopt climate-smart practices. The Australian Government has committed $300,000 over three years as part of the Showcasing Australian Agriculture - Regional Trade Events program to help farmers, producers, and businesses associated with the sheep and wool industries to showcase their products and expertise.
