Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to remind export clients and stakeholders of the contact numbers for Assessment Services Exports, following the decommissioning of the 1800 851 306 number. Clients should update their contact lists with the active contact numbers.
Summary of changes and key points
- In February 2023, the department advised of changes to the contact number for Assessment Services Exports to 1800 900 090. (2023-04: Assessment Services Exports – Change to contact number - DAFF)
- The former number (1800 851 306) did remain operational but has now been decommissioned.
- All queries for export certification requests must be made via 1800 900 090 during business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, in the relevant time zone).
- Out-of-hours support for urgent certification authorisation or certification requests remains available via 03 8317 8310.
Background
In February 2023, the department advised of a change to the contact number for Assessment Services Exports. This notice confirms that the former number has now been decommissioned and confirms the active contact details. In the short-term, a recorded message directing callers to the correct contact number is in place.
