Who does this notice affect?
Biosecurity industry participants and accredited persons operating under the department’s approved arrangement class 19.1 non-commodity for containerised cargo clearance (NCCC) & approved arrangement class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM); Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) providers and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
What has changed?
Key dates for the Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) activity 2024-25 period have now been published on the CBC activities webpage.
The CBC activity for this period will be made available on the Learnhub platform from Monday, 17 February 2025.
Accredited persons must ensure that they have set up and logged into their Learnhub account to complete the activity.
The CBC assessment component will be conducted through the approved CBC providers. Please contact your industry CBC provider to undertake the assessment by Monday, 17 March 2025. Failure to complete the CBC activity and assessment will result in the cancellation of your accreditation.
CBC completion records will be kept and managed by CBC providers, however, it is also your responsibility to keep evidence of CBC completion as this may be requested by the department.
