Who does this notice affect?
All clients required to use Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry web-based applications during this planned maintenance period.
All users of the Seasonal Pests (SeaPest) system.
All clients submitting the below declarations:
- Full Import Declaration (FID)
- Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
- Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
- Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
- Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
- Master Consolidator Declaration Forms
Information
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the following services and systems will experience a 10-minute outage during two separate outage windows (up to 20 minutes of total outages) between 22:00 to 22:30 Thursday 22 January 2026 (AEDT), and between 01:30 to 02:00 Friday 23 January 2026 (AEDT):
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Maritime and Aircraft Reporting System (MARS)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
- SeaPest
Messaging between DAFF systems and the Department of Home Affairs Integrated Cargo System will also queue during each outage and send following the conclusion of each outage.
Clients anticipating responses from the department in relation to the above-listed declaration types may experience some minor delays in receiving these responses.
Action
Users are advised to avoid using web-based departmental applications during the outage windows.
