Who does this notice affect?
All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned maintenance period.
All clients submitting the below declarations:
- Full Import Declaration (FID)
- Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
- Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
- Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
- Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
- Master Consolidator Declaration Forms
All users of the Seasonal Pests (SeaPest) system.
Information
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the following services and systems will experience intermittent outages during two separate outage windows, occurring (respectively) between 00:00 to 08:00 Saturday 21 February 2026 (AEDT), and between 16:00 to 23:59 Sunday 22 February 2026 (AEDT):
- AAMP
- DAFF messaging
- BICON
- SeaPest
Clients anticipating responses from the department in relation to the above-listed declaration types may also experience some delays in receiving these responses during the outage windows.
Action
BICON users are advised to frequently save any in-progress permit applications during this planned maintenance period.
