413-2025: Important Notice: Wednesday 17 December 2025 – PEBS system generated emails

17 December 2025

Who does this notice affect?

All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs with Outlook accounts awaiting system generated email notifications from the Post Entry Biosecurity System.

Information

Detail:

The Post Entry Biosecurity System’s (PEBS) automatic system generated notifications were not being received for clients using Outlook. Manual emails generated by PEBS were unaffected by this notification issue.

We have changed the sender address from DoNotReply@agri culture.gov.au to DoNotReply@aff.gov.au and notifications are now being received by Outlook accounts.

Action

Please ensure DoNotReply@agri culture.gov.au and DoNotReply@aff.gov.au are added to your ‘Allow Senders list’ within Outlook, to ensure emails are not quarantine by Outlook or placed into Junk folders.

If you were awaiting a system generated notification email after using PEBS and did not receive your email, please email BSDSAdmin@aff.gov.au with the following information, so we can forward your missed system notifications:

  • PRN (if known)
  • Permit Number
  • Email address use for reservation
  • Company Name or Importer Surname
  • What notification you are awaiting to receive

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
