Submissions for the proposed Australian Biofouling management policy

​​The Australian Government Department of Agriculture invited interested stakeholders to provide their views on the proposed Australian biofouling management policies and consultation Regulation Impact Statement during the public consultation period, which ran from 1 December 2011 until 29 February 2012.

Written submissions were received during the consultation period and, where possible, are available below. All submissions will be considered when developing the final biofouling management policy, which is anticipated to be released during 2012.

Publication of submissions

All submissions received by the department have been treated as documents for the public domain unless otherwise requested by the respondent.

Submissions which were not published are denoted as *NFP (not for publication) where the submission coversheet was not provided, coversheet confidentiality options were ticked, where authors have not authorised publication of their submission on the website, or where submissions contained offensive language, potentially defamatory material, or copyright infringing material.

Responsibility for copyright in submissions resides with the author/s, not the Department of Agriculture.
