Update: The planned infrastructure maintenance for Friday 12 May 2023 has been rescheduled.

Scheduled infrastructure maintenance to the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) will now occur from 23:00 Thursday 18 May to 01:00 Friday 19 May 2023 (AEST).

Purpose

To notify stakeholders of a list of approved shellfish harvest areas for export is now available from the department’s website.

Exporting shellfish – export approved shellfish harvest areas

As an exporter, you need to ensure that the goods you are exporting are eligible for export. For shellfish, the department approves shellfish harvest areas for export. This means that shellfish must come from export approved shellfish harvest areas. You need to ensure the shellfish is then further prepared (this includes storage, packing and processing) at a registered establishment to be eligible for export.
