Stakeholders in the import and shipping industries—including Master Consolidators, vessel masters, freight forwarders, treatment providers, Biosecurity Industry Participants, importers, customs brokers, and principal agents— associated with shipping or importing goods that require increased intervention during the 2022-23 BMSB risk season.
What has changed?
On 1 May 2023, the 2022-23 BMSB risk season ended.

Stakeholders in the import of plant-based animal feed and fertilisers – including importers, customs agents, brokers and freight forwarders.
What has changed?
Additional community protection (CP) questions have been recently added to certain tariffs in the Integrated Cargo System (ICS) to ensure goods lodged under these tariffs intended to be used for direct animal feed or fertilisers are referred to the department for biosecurity intervention.
