This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise industry that the NEXDOC portal has two new functions.
Have your say on modernising levies legislation
‘Have Your Say’ consultation is now open on a redraft of existing legislation that underpins Australia’s agricultural levy system. The legislation is being simplified and streamlined after 30 years in operation.

To notify stakeholders of two new functions now available on the next export documentation (NEXDOC) system portal which allows exporters to:

All importers and customs brokers who are required to lodge inspection requests to the department using the Biosecurity Portal.

Detail:
The unplanned service disruption to the Biosecurity Portal has been resolved. Clients can now lodge new inspection booking requests as normal.

No action required. The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
