Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, BICON users may experience several intermittent outages from 16:00 to 23:59 Sunday 23 October 2022 (AEDT).

Action

Users are advised to frequently save any in-progress permit applications during this maintenance period.

198-2022: Removal of permit requirement for fresh mango from Thailand

Who does this notice affect?

This notice is for importers of fresh mango fruit from Thailand for human consumption, approved arrangements, freight forwarders, brokers, and Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspection.

What has changed?

On 1 November 2022, the requirement for an import permit for fresh mango fruit grown in Thailand for human consumption will be removed.

Importers who hold a valid import permit will no longer need to present this from 1 November 2022.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, clients registered through MyGov Digital Identity will be unable to access the Biosecurity Portal from 23:30 Saturday 15 October to 07:00 Sunday 16 October 2022 (AEDT).

Action

Clients registered through MyGov Digital Identity are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access this service.
