All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system during this planned outage period.

All importers and customs brokers who are awaiting outcomes of biosecurity assessments during this planned outage.

All clients using the Paperless process to lodge Self Assessed Clearance declarations to the department for biosecurity assessment.

The issue causing a service disruption to the Import Management System (IMS) has now been resolved.

Clients anticipating outcomes for Cargo Reports SACs and Short Form SACs from the IMS should expect delays until the issue is resolved.

All clients required to create new permit applications or access existing application documents within the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system.

Information

The issue causing a service disruption to BICON has now been resolved.

Clients can create new permit applications and access documents related to existing applications as normal.

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
