This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) users of a planned outage.

203-2024: Scheduled Outage: Saturday 21 September to Sunday 22 September 2024 – SeaPest

Who does this notice affect?

All users of the Seasonal Pests (SeaPest) system.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the SeaPest system will experience intermittent outages from 23:00 Saturday 21 September to 05:00 Sunday 22 September 2024 (AEST).

Action

No action required. The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.

202-2024: Self-Assessed Clearances (SAC) cost recovery charge: One charging model for all SAC reporters

Who does this notice affect?

Entities lodging SAC declarations and cargo reports associated with low-value goods ($1000 or less in value) into the Integrated Cargo System (ICS).

What has changed?

The department has been made aware of misinformation circulating regarding the implementation of the SAC cost recovery charge. This misinformation is centred around the application of the SAC charge to the Australian Postal Corporation.
