Exporters and processors of fish and fish products are responsible for ensuring they are aware of, and comply with current importing country requirements and market access conditions.
It is imperative that the ABIB are contacted before the product reaches Australia.
When you are requesting an export permit using the departments Export Documentation System (EXDOC) you will need to include details of your product.

department's Animal and Biological Imports Branch (ABIB) in Canberra must be contacted.
