Who does this notice affect?

This notice is intended for exporters and agents who export the following commodities: meat, fish, dairy, eggs, skins, hides, wool, and non-prescribed goods.

Purpose

To notify EXDOC users of a planned system outage occurring on:

Vegetation

​Agriculture occupies 59 per cent of Australia’s 7.6 million square kilometre landmass. Land managed for agriculture includes assets important for biodiversity conservation. These assets include remnant native vegetation (such as patches of forest, woodlands, shrublands and grasslands), native vegetation along rivers and creeks, wetlands and rocky outcrops.

National Soil RD&E Strategy

​​​​For the first time Australia has a national, coordinated and forward thinking approach to managing our soil.

The National Soil Research, Development and Extension Strategy - 'Securing Australia’s soil for profitable industries and healthy landscapes' (soil RD&E strategy) will ensure soils research becomes more targeted and collaborative and that research will better meet the needs of farmers. There will also be better information and tools available on soil use and management.
