Australian Government Digital Traineeship Program

We participate in the Australian Government Digital Traineeship Program (AGDTP).

The program is open to applicants of all experience levels. It’s for those seeking to enter the Australian Public Service (APS). You can be a school leaver, career changer or re-entering the workforce.

How it works

The program runs for 12 months. During this time, you will:

  • enter the APS on a competitive starting salary
  • learn specialised skills in a digital role
  • complete formal qualifications in a relevant digital topic.

Our digital teams support our organisation and provide key services to industry stakeholders.

There is a range of work on offer for Digital Trainees. This includes many areas that fall outside of traditional IT roles.

Our Digital Trainees have access to tailored support. We provide dedicated support teams within our digital work areas. You’ll also have access to experienced mentors and buddies from previous cohorts.

The Digital Traineeship Program is run by the Australian Public Service Commission.
