Summary:
Citrus Watch is a collaborative national biosecurity and surveillance program for the citrus industry. It covers both commercial growing areas and high-density urban areas. The program aims to reduce the risk and spread of high-priority citrus pests and diseases.
In this presentation, we will hear about Citrus Watch surveillance and preparedness work. We will look at citrus pest and disease outbreaks overseas. We will also explore how control efforts are being used to manage them.
These insights help us better prepare for new pests and diseases before they enter.
