Farm Household Allowance data dashboard

Australian farmers are among the most productive and innovative in the world. Across the 87,800 farm businesses in Australia, our farmers are constantly assessing and adapting to change.

Farm Household Allowance (FHA) provides help to eligible farmers, and their partners, experiencing financial hardship. It offers planning and training for long-term financial improvements.

FHA is a package of assistance available to cash-strapped farming families, regardless of the source of the hardship. The assistance includes up to 4 years of fortnightly income support in every 10-year period.

Information on claim status and assistance available as at 28 February 2023. Updated monthly.

FHA has helped almost 17,770 farmers and their partners.

Over 3,510 farmers and their partners are still receiving assistance.

Around 4,140 farmers and their partners have received their first four years of entitlement.
