This Biosecurity Advice Notice advises stakeholders that the department will be hosting a workshop for interested stakeholders.
This workshop follows the release of the final report for the import risk review for the Importation of live garden snails (Cornu aspersum) for heliciculture.
The workshop will provide a forum for the department to outline for prospective importers, the steps required in developing an import pathway for live garden snails (C. Aspersum) for heliciculture.
Date: Tuesday 4 November 2025
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm AEDT
Format: In person (Agriculture House, 70 Northbourne Ave, Canberra) and Microsoft Teams
