The countries on this list, and the effective dates of this list may vary from the import conditions placed on individual import permits and directions issued by biosecurity officers. In many cases imported goods are assessed on a case-by case-basis, considering the specific biosecurity risks they may pose, and measures required to reduce the risk to meet Australia’s Appropriate Level of Protection (ALOP).
