The CPSU has advised the department of a range of work stoppages and bans from Tuesday 27 September until 3 October 2011.
Previous industrial action taken by CPSU members has had minimal impact on business operations.

Bans on overtime and Ministerials will also take place in the Australian Capital Territory from Tuesday 27th of September to Monday 3rd October.

These bans for CPSU members in the ACT are:

  • All DAFF/AQIS worksites in the Australian Capital Territory — A ban on all overtime from 5:00am Tuesday 27th of September until 10:00pm on Monday 3rd of October
  • All DAFF/AQIS worksites in the Australian Capital Territory — A ban on all Ministerials from 5:00am Tuesday 27th of September until 10:00pm on Monday 3rd of October

The Department will be minimising the impact on our staff, clients and stakeholders and is expected that operations will continue during periods of industrial action.

The Department remains confident that an agreement with the CPSU can be reached.
