Purpose:
To advise of new Indonesian regulations which require exporters to complete a prior notice form, prior to export for all fresh food of plant origin, including grain exported to Indonesia.
Background:
DAFF Biosecurity has been advised by the National Plant Protection Organisation of Indonesia, the Ministry of Agriculture, that the Prior Notice - Application of Imported Fresh Food of Plant Origin (FFPO) must be completed by the exporter in the country of origin for all consignments of fresh food of plant origin to Indonesia. Previously this form was completed by the importer.
Exporter responsibilities
Complete a Prior Notice - Application of Imported Fresh Food of Plant Origin (FFPO) prior to export.
