Who does this notice affect?

Airlines, aircraft operators and their contracted services (third parties) performing or certifying disinsection treatments applied to aircraft cabin and hold for aircraft arriving in Australia and New Zealand.

22-2024: Scheduled Outage: Sunday 18 February to Monday 19 February 2024 – BICON and MARS impacted, COLS, OPS, and PEBS unavailable.

Who does this notice affect?

All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned outage.

All clients attempting to submit permit applications and access invoices using the Department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned outage.

All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance period.

2024-07: Plant Export Operations – Export systems expected maintenance outage

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify all Plant Exports Management System (PEMS), Export Documents (EXDOC) and Quota Management System (QMS) users, including plant export clients and exporters, of expected system maintenance and associated outages.

Approved arrangements operators, customs brokers, importers, manned depots, and freight forwarders who are required to book and manage requests for import inspections using the Biosecurity Portal.

Detail:

The unplanned service disruption to the Biosecurity Portal has been resolved. Clients can now submit their request for inspection through the Biosecurity Portal as normal.
