2023-05: NEXDOC export certificate planned outage - 3 March 2023 – honey and apiculture products

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify exporters of honey and apiculture products of a planned outage for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s (the department) export certification service using the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system from 8.00pm to 11.00pm AEDT on Friday 3 March 2023.

Animal Biosecurity Advice 2023-A03: Members of the scientific advisory group to consider the import risk review for psittacine birds from all countries

This advice provides an update on the progress of the Import risk review for psittacine birds from all countries. In light of comments provided by stakeholders on the draft report, further consideration of the potential biosecurity risks relating to the environment is required.

Who does this notice affect?

All clients attempting to submit permit applications and access invoices using the Department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned outage.

All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned outage.

All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned outage.

46-2023: Scheduled outage: Saturday 04 March 2023 - BICON

Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned outage.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, BICON will be unavailable from 23:00 to 23:30 Saturday 04 March 2023 (AEDT).

Action

Clients are advised to await completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access this service.

Who does this notice affect?

Approved arrangements operators, customs brokers, importers, manned depots, and freight forwarders who are required to book and manage requests for import inspections using the Biosecurity Portal.

Information

The unplanned outage to the Biosecurity Portal has now been resolved. Digital Identity / myGovID clients can access the portal as normal.

Action

If you have already submitted an email request, do not submit a portal request as well.

The Biosecurity Portal is currently experiencing an unplanned outage. As a result, Digital Identity / myGovID clients are unable to access the portal.
