Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system during this planned maintenance period.

All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance period.

All users of the Seasonal Pests (SeaPest) system.

All clients submitting the below declarations:

Who does this notice affect?

Approved arrangements operators, customs brokers, importers, manned depots, and freight forwarders who are required to book and manage requests for inspections through the Biosecurity Portal.

Information

Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the Biosecurity Portal will be unavailable from 20:00 Friday 19 July to 06:30 Saturday 20 July 2024 (AEST).

Action

Clients are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access this service.

2024-43: Plant Export Operations – Export systems expected maintenance outage

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify all Export Documentation system (EXDOC) and Plant Export Management System (PEMS) users, including plant export clients, exporters and authorised officers of expected system updates and associated outages.

Summary of changes and key points

Due to system updates and maintenance outages, EXDOC and PEMS will be unavailable during the following period:

  • Sunday 14 July 2024 – 8.00pm – 12.00am (AEST)

During the system outage window users will:

There will no longer be an outage to the Biosecurity Portal as part of this scheduled infrastructure maintenance.
