Date of effect: 31 May 2021

Attention:

  • Registered dairy exporters, manufacturers, agents, freight forwarders, approved export permit issuers and EDI users.
  • Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment - Central and Regional offices.

Purpose

To notify stakeholders that the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) portal for dairy will go live at 11.00pm on Monday 31 May 2021.

If you are using the NEXDOC portal, you will need to use Google Chrome or Edge browsers. Internet Explorer will not support the NEXDOC system.

Key points

The NEXDOC portal for dairy will go live at 11.00pm on Monday 31 May 2021. The NEXDOC portal allows exporters to directly obtain their export documentation from the department.

If you have registered using the online service portal, you can begin lodging a request for export (REX) (previously known as a request for permit (RFP)) in the NEXDOC portal.

We will be holding virtual question and answer (Q&A) drop-in sessions via Microsoft Teams, for exporters who would like to use the NEXDOC portal. These sessions will be held on:

  • Tuesday 1 June 1.00pm – 2.00pm
  • Thursday 3 June 11.00am – 12.00pm

Please click on the above hyperlink for the day and time you would like to attend.

If you haven’t already, you will need to register to use NEXDOC for dairy as an exporter user.

Please ensure that you complete your registration through the online services portal which can be found on the transitioning commodities to NEXDOC page. For more information on how to register you can visit the NEXDOC help page.
For more information on NEXDOC:

  • visit our website what has changed in NEXDOC
  • talk to your software provider
  • contact the helpdesk on (02) 6272 4700.

If you have a question about an RFP that was processed prior to 17 May 2021, email EXDOC.Helpdesk@aff.gov.au using the existing heading protocol.

If you have any further queries, please contact the Enhanced Traceability Project via EnhancedTraceabilityProject@aff.gov.au
