Attention
- All users of the Tracking Animal Certification for Export (TRACE) system.
Purpose
This notice is to advise the live animal export industry that the TRACE system is now back online and accessible via the Export Service. All users should resume normal operations using TRACE for their Notice of Intent (NOIs) effective immediately.
Key points
- TRACE has been restored and is now available through the Export Service.
- All business continuity arrangements previously in place are no longer required. The industry should now return to standard procedures using TRACE for all relevant activities.
- Users are advised that the system is secure and all prior access issues have been resolved.
- If you experience any issues accessing TRACE via the Export Service, please contact the Live Animal Export Branch for assistance.
Notices of Intent (NOI) to export
All NOI variations and new applications should now be submitted exclusively through TRACE via the Export Service. Manual forms are no longer required.
If you have already submitted a manual application or variation form, the department will continue to process it. Once completed by the department, you will be able to check and further vary it in TRACE. For any clarifications or questions about the status of specific consignments, please contact livestockexp@aff.gov.au for livestock exports and genetics@aff.gov.au for reproductive exports.
