Attention
- Livestock exporters
Purpose
To inform stakeholders that they can now manage livestock export licence applications online using the Export Service.
Key points
- The new export licensing service provides a simpler, faster way to apply to, renew, vary or cancel livestock export licences.
- The new form is now accessible for registered users through the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s (DAFF) Export Service.
- Licence holders will continue to receive automated licence renewal reminder notices from noreply@exports.agriculture.gov.au.
- Renewal notices will be sent out 180 days before a licence renewal is due, with subsequent reminders to be sent out at regular intervals until the renewal period is closed.
- More information can be found on the Export Service help page or by contacting exportservice@aff.gov.au or 1800 571 125.
- Using the Export Service for livestock licence applications is not mandatory and PDF application forms will still be available on request.
Background
- The Export Service was launched to provide exporters and export industries with a way to manage their agricultural export requirements in one place and interact with DAFF.
- The service intends to provide a single sign in experience to all DAFF export services, providing a front door for users to sign in once and then access other services as needed.
