Variations, changes, suspensions and revocations to class 19 approved arrangements

If you participate in approved arrangements class 19.1 and 19.2 you must notify the department before varying, changing, suspending or revoking your approved arrangement.

Change of details

Approved arrangements

A change of details for approved arrangements class 19 is required when the approved arrangement manager wants to:

  • update business contact details
  • update the association of accredited persons

The approved arrangement manager must complete the form and submit it to class19@aff.gov.au.

Accredited persons

A change of details for class 19 accredited persons is required when you want to:

  • update your personal contact information (including Learnhub username for class 19)
  • add class 19.2 to your individual accreditation

The accredited person must complete the form and submit it to class19@aff.gov.au.

Variation of approved arrangement

An application to vary is required when you want to:

  • add or remove class 19.2 on an arrangement
  • change the approved arrangement manager.

The approved arrangement manager must complete the application to vary an approved arrangement class 19 form and submit it to class19@aff.gov.au.

An application to vary is assessed as if the application were for approval of a new proposed arrangement. Please see Applying for an approved arrangement for more information on the consideration period and application process.

Suspension of approved arrangement

The approved arrangement manager can request a whole or part suspension of your approved arrangement class 19, or request to extend an approved suspension.

A whole suspension is applicable to both the class 19.1 and 19.2 arrangements, whereas a part suspension is only applicable to the class 19.2 arrangement. An extension is a request to increase the period of the already approved suspension.

Whole or part suspension requests can be made via the Approved Arrangement Management Product (AAMP) or in writing by the approved arrangement manager.

For requests made in writing, the following information must be submitted to class19@aff.gov.au: 

  • Approved arrangement number
  • Legal entity name
  • Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Branch ID
  • Suspension type: whole or part
  • Reason for the suspension
  • Date of effect of suspension (no less than 15 business days after date of request)
  • Proposed end date of suspension

Please ensure you include as much information as possible to avoid the department having to request more information and delay the process. Please submit one request per arrangement.

Requests must be submitted to the department at least 15 business days prior to the proposed date of any changes to your approved arrangement.

Lifting a suspension

To lift the suspension before the end of the suspension period, contact class19@aff.gov.au at least 15 business days prior to the proposed date the suspension is to be lifted.

Revocation of approved arrangement

If you no longer require your approved arrangement, revocation requests can be made via the Approved Arrangement Management Product (AAMP) or in writing by the approved arrangement manager.

For requests made in writing, the following information must be submitted to class19@aff.gov.au:

  • Approved arrangement number
  • Legal entity name
  • Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Branch ID
  • Date of effect of revocation.

Requests must be submitted to the department at least 15 business days prior to the proposed date of any changes to your approved arrangement.

In certain circumstances written requests may be provided by a person with the authority to make decisions on behalf of the entity. Please contact class19@aff.gov.au for more information.
