Who does this notice affect?

This notice is of interest to clients in the import industry for seeds for planting, including importers, customs brokers, freight forwarders and overseas suppliers.

What has changed?

The purpose of this notification is to advise stakeholders that the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) has published an entry coversheet that may be used for seed for planting consignments.

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to provide updated information on the registration of food processing and storage facilities handling product for export to China, and product labelling requirements for food products exported to China.
