Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system during this planned maintenance period. 

Information

The department is conducting I.T. infrastructure maintenance from 23:00 to 23:05 Saturday 19 June 2021 (AEST).

BICON will still be available during this time, however users will not be able to complete the following operations:

Victorian RFAs Annual Meeting of Officials 2021 Communique 29 March 2021

The first Victorian RFA Annual Meeting of Officials took place on 29 March 2021. The meeting was attended by officials from the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment; the Victorian Government Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP); and the Victorian Government Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR).

Who does this notice affect?

All clients awaiting outcomes relating to Master Consolidator Declarations and Offshore Treatment Certificate assessments.

Information

The department’s Seasonal Pest application is currently experiencing an unplanned outage.

As a result, clients may experience delays in receiving Master Consolidator Declaration and Offshore Treatment Certificate assessment outcomes.  

The department is investigating this issue as a priority and apologises for any inconvenience caused.

2021-32: Horticulture Exports – Applications for the export of Tasmanian apples and pears to protocol markets

Purpose

This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise the Tasmanian apple and pear industry that applications are now open for the accreditation of farms, packhouses and cold stores, and registration of treatment facilities to export to protocol markets for the 2021–22 season.

Biosecurity industry participants and accredited persons operating under the department’s class 19.1 non-commodity for containerised cargo clearance (NCCC) & class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM) approved arrangements; continued biosecurity competency (CBC) providers and registered training organisations (RTOs).
