When buying fresh, dried or preserved foods (including spices and seeds) from your local supermarket, general store or fruit and vegetable shop, make sure they are put on your plate for eating and not planted in your garden.

This Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) Regulatory Performance Report covers the period 1 December 2019 to 31 March 2020.
During this period, the department received 6 reports of non-compliance with ESCAS requirements. These reports involved supply chains in Israel, Kuwait and Vietnam.
