Who does this notice affect?

All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) System during this planned maintenance period.

Information

The department will be conducting urgent infrastructure maintenance from 23:30 Monday 22 February to 00:30 Tuesday 23 February 2021 (AEDT).

As a result, the Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system will be unavailable for up to 10 minutes during the above maintenance window.

Who does this notice affect?

This notice is of interest to importers of bulbs for use as nursery stock.

What has changed?

The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) is revising the on-arrival inspection regime of all consignments of bulbs imported for use as nursery stock.
