Have your say on the RFA

If you use or care about the forests of South East Queensland for whatever reason - for work, for recreation, or concern for the environment, you can have input to the RFA.

Many Queenslanders have already contributed their expertise through the numerous workshops, surveys and focus groups for the Comprehensive Regional Assessment. The South-East Queensland Comprehensive Regional Assessment Report summarises the results of these and other projects.

Public comment period

The most important phase for consultation will begin with the publication of an options report for the final SEQ RFA. This report will be circulated throughout the region during a six week public consultation period and all interested groups or members of the public will be encouraged to comment on what it suggests. This feedback will be taken into account by governments as they develop the final RFA.

How to find out more

If you have access to the internet, you will find CRA Report, technical reports and background to the RFA at: http://www.rfa.gov.au.

It can also be found at the Brisbane City Library and public libraries throughout the region.
