How to register and access NEXDOC
NEXDOC (Next Export Documentation) is our system for managing export documentation, including permits and certificates.
EXDOC software suppliers - Considerations when purchasing EXDOC interface software
Some points to consider when choosing your software package and provider:
- Do you require a stand alone or a networked system, (one PC or many PCs)?
- If you require a networked version, can your provider integrate their system with your existing system?
- If you intend to print health certificates in your office rather than a Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry office you will need to

Register as an EXDOC user
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Export Documentation System (EXDOC) is used to generate export documents.
EXDOC can be used to electronically request and issue:
- export permits
- certificates and related documents as required by importing countries.

The EXDOC help desk provides support to all clients using the EXDOC system for the creation and processing of Requests For Permits (RFP's).
The helpdesk is contactable 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Cargo Management Re-Engineering CMR for Exports
CMR for exports was implemented by the Australian Customs Service on 6 October 2004. Customs electronic documentation system ICS replaces customs EXIT system.
