NEXDOC is a comprehensive system designed to improve your experience with our export services. It introduces new features and enhances existing ones to streamline the export documentation process.

New features of NEXDOC include:
- managing your account details
- use NEXDOC to update your contact and registration details
- reduced paperwork
- NEXDOC automates some manual certification and export documentation, decreasing the reliance on paper forms including:
- non-prescribed goods (other goods and honey)
- non-Australian product
- re-export certification
- extra certificates
- requests for replacement certificates
- NEXDOC automates some manual certification and export documentation, decreasing the reliance on paper forms including:
- attach more information
- record more export information, attach supporting documents, and cross-reference information. You will be able to attach information to a REX, such as:
- import permits
- bills of lading
- third country certificates
- record more export information, attach supporting documents, and cross-reference information. You will be able to attach information to a REX, such as:
- increased visibility of your request
- use NEXDOC to:
- track the export approval process of your REX
- transfer and withdraw EDNs without contacting the department Helpdesk
- preview certificates before printing
- print certificates on white paper – certification issued by NEXDOC will have a unique QR code to improve tracking and security, removing the need for blue paper (where agreed with importing countries)
- identify users as an AEPI (automated export permit issuer) streamlining the authorisation of REXs and removing the need for AQA user IDs
- use NEXDOC to:
- new terminology
- a ‘Request for Permit (RFP)’ is referred to as Request for Export Documentation (REX).
Enhanced features include:
- printing capabilities
- increased in-office printing options (My Print)
- system performance
- easier and quicker to request export documentation, including faster transmissions via third-party software
- reduced time by
- pre-validating your REX before submission (where available in your software)
- using pre-populated drop-down menus – this replaces free-text fields in EXDOC interface
- reducing the need for manual certificates and forms.
