We request briefings, internal documents and correspondence - excluding correspondence with media - relating to:

• Lord Mayor Clover Moore's declaration of a climate emergency
• The office of the Sydney Lord Mayor
• The City of Sydney's annual report

From the period of June 2019 to current.

a) All copies of the City of Sydney 2017-18 Annual report (Statutory Returns) or p14 of the same, downloaded, printed or in the possession of your office and any copies that were forwarded or shared with your office or with other ministerial offices or your department, including the emails or letters attaching the downloads/copies. Please include any altered copies. Please confine the search to between 1 September and 28 October 2019.

b) All internal notes of meetings, notes of phone calls, emails , and mobile platform communications (including texts, imessages, and whatsapp or similar) between the Minister and his staff about the City of Sydney's the 2017-18 annual report, the letter sent to the Lord Mayor Clover Moore dated around 29 September 2019, and the erroneous figures relating to the City's travel expenses included in that letter. Please confine the search to June 24 to October 28, 2019.

Any documents that reference (a) travel costs incurred by the City of Sydney in 2017-18 or (b) the City of Sydney Annual Report 2017-18 or (c) claims made by the Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction (the Minister) relating to travel costs incurred by the City of Sydney in 2017-18 or the City of Sydney Annual Report 2017-18, including, but not limited to:

• correspondence with the City of Sydney
• any purported extract of the City of Sydney Annual Report 2017-18 provided by the Minister's office to the Daily Telegraph in September 2019
• any document thatshows how the purported extract of the City of Sydney Annual Report 2017-18 provided by the Minister's office to the Daily Telegraph in September 2019 came into the possession of the Minister or his office
• talking points prepared by the Prime Minister's office and/or the Minister's office and/or the Minister's department for use by the Minister in the period 24-25 October 2019
• talking points prepared by the Prime Minister's office and/or the Minister's office for use by Government MPs and Senators in the period 24-25 October 2019
• responses to media inquiries, including, but not limited to, email and text messages, in the period 20-25 October 2019
• records of communications with the Prime Minister and/or his office, including, but not limited to, email, text messages and messages sent using encrypted messaging apps in the period 20-25 October 2019; and
• records of communications with the Minister's department, including, but not limited to, email, text messages and messages sent using encrypted messaging apps

With the exception of news clippings or alerts.

I seek access under the Commonwealth Freedom of Information Act to information within the ministerial office of Energy Minister Angus Taylor relating to the City of Sydney and its expenses.

I intend the request to apply to the following time period and in the following ways:

1. All documents from 1 September 2019 to the date and time of this request -- 24 October 2019 at 4:15 p.m.

2. By documents, I mean text messages, Whatsapp messages, emails, handwritten notes and information created on computer in various word processing formats.

3. I do not limit this to documents created in the ministerial office. I also request documents held by the office including all versions of documents created by the City of Sydney.

This request relates to matters raised in the House of Representatives on 24 October 2019 concerning Mr Taylor and a document that conveyed incorrect information about the City of Sydney and its travel expenses.

The applicant requested final reports and related images of exotic wildlife/contraband in relation to airport security breaches.

Five documents were released in full. Three documents were released in part with deletions under s47F(1). Thirteen documents were refused release under s37(1)(a), s37(2)(b), s47E(d) and s47F(1).

The applicant seeks copies of the following that refer to the forty-spotted pardalote (Pardalotus quadragintus):

• Any briefing and correspondence related to the listing status or population trends (including status of local populations) for the Pardalotus quadragintus;
• Any briefing and correspondence related to the recovery plan for the Pardalotus quadragintus; and
• Any mentions of the Pardalotus quadragintus in regards to Regional Forests Agreements

dated between 1 June 2018 and 22 October 2019.

This request is limited to all CITES import permit cases for coral into Australia from the Solomon Islands for commercial trade purposes only between mid-2013 (the date on which the PAWS database became operational in respect of CITES import permits) and 28 June 2018, including one or more permit cases from 2013.

1. All documents and materials considered by the Decision Maker for all Australian CITES import permit cases for commercial purposes between mid-2013 (the date on which the PAWS database became operational in respect of CITES import permits) and 28 June 2018. 
2. The import permits showing the decision made by the Decision Maker for all Australian CITES import permit cases for commercial purposes between mid-2013 (the date on which the PAWS database became operational in respect of CITES import permits) and 28 June 2018. 
3. If any statements of reasons has been provided to a person, a copy of that statement of reasons for all Australian CITES import permit cases for commercial purposes between mid-2013 (the date on which the PAWS database became operational in respect of CITES import permits) and 28 June 2018. 
4. Any other notes created by the Decision Maker in relation to the decision for all Australian CITES import permit cases for commercial purposes between mid-2013 (the date on which the PAWS database became operational in respect of CITES import permits) and 28 June 2018.
