Biosecurity Advanced Analytics Capability

Image of Agriculture White Paper logoThe government has committed $15.9 million to develop an advanced analytics capability for biosecurity.

An advanced analytics capability is important to make the best use of biosecurity data by transforming it into information to make better biosecurity decisions.

The volume of goods and people and their global movement continues to increase. This shifting environment means that biosecurity risks are continuously evolving. Analytics will help us target our biosecurity efforts to areas of highest risk to safeguard our primary production and valuable exports.

This initiative is part of the Australian Government’s Agricultural Competitiveness White Paper, the government’s plan for stronger farmers and a stronger economy.

More detailed information on this initiative will be made available soon.
