We strive to create a safe place to work for all our LGBTIQA+ staff members by providing supportive programs, educating our allies and nurturing an inclusive culture.
We are a member of Pride in Diversity and participate in the Australian Workplace Equality Index – the national benchmark for LGBTIQA+ workplace inclusion.
Our values and actions
We work to ensure our culture is inclusive of LGBTIQA+ people and that any discrimination is addressed promptly through our support channels.
We prioritise education in our inclusion strategy by running regular awareness training sessions and providing a dedicated pride page on the staff intranet.
We show pride in our LGBTIQA+ staff by celebrating days of significance including Wear it Purple Day and the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex discrimination and Transphobia.
We have a range of initiatives in place to support our LGBTIQA+ staff including gender affirmation guidelines, ally resources and an active LGBTIQA+ Pride Network.
Our Pride Network has a Champion and Co-champion at the senior executive levels who advocate for Network members and our values of respect and inclusion for all our LGBTIQA+ colleagues. The Network is open to all staff.
