Sea containers are essential to global trade, with millions of cargo units moving around the world each year. However, sea containers can also spread pests and diseases, threatening agriculture, biodiversity, food security and trade.
Everyone involved in the movement of sea containers should keep containers and cargo free from visible pest contamination while they are in their custody.
The Australian Government has developed a series of capacity-building videos to support industry and global stakeholders to minimise pest contamination associated with the movement of sea containers.
