Biosecurity research and innovation enhances our work to prevent, predict, identify and respond to biosecurity threats.
Programs such as the Biosecurity Innovation Program (BIP) and Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis (CEBRA) test and develop new ideas and technologies. They also support our risk-based approach to biosecurity regulation with research and risk analysis tools.
Innovation is our future
Over the next decade we’ll face new challenges in biosecurity control. Our research and innovation work and engagement with members of the public, industry, start-ups, research institutions, universities, and state governments prepares us for the future.
