Changes to the Avocado levy and export charge

​Starting 1 April 2017, a Plant Health Australia (PHA) levy of 0.1 cent per kilogram will be introduced on avocados. This w​ill be offset by a 0.1 cent per kilogram reduction on the research and development (R&D) component of the avocado levy. The overall rate change for the avocado levy is shown in the table below:
